Have been recently watching the price of Anchor Protocol (ANC) and it would seem that it has started to go 10:1 in tandem to the price of LUNA! Is this a coincidence or is it going to stay like this? Does this mean that a $500 LUNA EOY is a $50 ANC EOY? Let’s discuss!

So if you are not aware of what Anchor Protocol is, it is a savings protocol on the LUNA blockchain that pays about 20% on the UST that is deposited on the earn side of the protocol. So anyone anywhere can acquire UST and get a fixed rate of 20%. Now it can fluctuate between 18–22% but it always gets back to 20%.

This protocol has Anchor tokens (ANC) which is a governance token. In the past there was not a correlation between the price of ANC and LUNA but recently I have noticed that it fluctuates around 10% of LUNA price so I started trying to see if this was just a one off thing but it’s been this way for a few weeks.
